Markus advises on real estate law, intellectual property, competition law and contract law. In addition, he regularly works in public law, for example in the areas of health care and food law as well as zoning and construction law.
He is fluent in German and English.
Markus is the author of several publications in the field of Intellectual Property and has contributed to the World Bank Report: Starting a Business in Austria.
After studying law at the University of Vienna and the University of Essex, as well as philosophy in Vienna, Markus worked in the legal department of the General Settlement Fund for Victims of National Socialism and as university assistant at the Vienna Faculty of Law. After obtaining his doctorate, he was an associate in two leading Viennese business law firms until he founded Bitterl König Attorneys-at-Law in 2018.
Maximilian advises on corporate law, real estate law, arbitration law and data protection law. In addition, he is regularly active in various areas of public law, in particular residence law for private clients.
He is fluent in German, English and French.
Maximilian is a member of the Advisory Board of the Legal Tech Initiative Austria. He is the author of several publications and contributed to the Austrian Yearbook on International Arbitration 2018.
After graduating from the Lycée Français de Vienne, Maximilian studied law at the University of Vienna. He then worked for an international consulting firm in Mumbai, India, on private equity and real estate projects. In addition to gaining valuable professional experience at two renowned Viennese law firms, Maximilian also co-founded two e-commerce start-ups. In 2018 he started Bitterl König Attorneys-at-Law.
